Michelle has been a backbone to me as a Registered Manager.
She is our Senior Carer and has really done amazing things, most especially during this pandemic. She has really gone the extra mile.
During the pandemic, one of our elderly client's was dying - End of Life. It was a very difficult time because the GP was not coming out to support the family at this crucial time. However Michelle, against all odds, stayed and supported this individual and the family until the elderly person passed away. It was very emotional for us all.
She has also been doing shopping for clients and arranging video calls for professionals to have consultations with our dementia clients. This has helped in the continuity of care. She has also kept the team morale very high, checking in on every member of staff to ensure their well being.
She has a heart of gold. Quite frankly, we would not have got through the year without her support.
