After launching in 2020, Jelly Drops became an award-winning delicious & easy way to support hydration through a candy, beloved by many with dementia, the elderly & others needing help with water intake. We realised that our original tray was not perfect for everyone, however, so our team embarked on a year-long process of research & development based on your feedback, to create an improved version.
We're proud to say our new trays are easier to pick up & handle with a smaller drop size & improved shape, more drops per tray, stronger & tastier flavors, are more eco-friendly with 50% less packaging & are available for the same great price. They also benefit from more compact deliveries, longer use-by dates & handy individually sealed portion sizes.
Our new trays retain all the things that made the original so popular however - they're still 95% water, sugar free and vegan with added electrolytes, & come in an engaging & vibrant format.

We've always wanted as many people as possible to benefit from Jelly Drops.
Although our distinctive original drops were loved by many, we realised that for lots of people they presented challenges to being eaten independently.
Many, particularly those with arthritis or lacking in dexterity, struggled to pick up and hold the drops due to their spherical shape and curved sides.
For some, although the large candy size was easy to hold, it presented a challenge to being easily and safely chewed and swallowed.
Our team of experts, consulting with Speech & Language Therapists, have listened to your feedback and worked tirelessly to develop new and improved Jelly Drops.
Our new Jelly Drops now have a flat back and front, making them significantly easier to pick up, as well as being a safer shape to chew, while still featuring our colorful, eye-catching drop shape that people find irresistibly snackable.
They are also significantly smaller, about half the size of our old drops, making them easier to eat. There's no need to worry about missing out though - all our drops are still 95% water and each pot now contains nine drops instead of five, giving you exactly the same fluid intake as before.
We've also updated our recipe, making the drops more like traditional candy that you love.

An overwhelming 86% of our most dedicated users were delighted by the idea of a new flavour: Peach!
Peach is now available as standard in all tray packs for our US customers, alongside the existing flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, orange and lemon.

There’s no need to worry, as you’ll automatically receive our new and improved trays in your next delivery. The price of your subscription will stay exactly the same and your pack will still be charged and sent on your previously scheduled date.
Our new trays use over 60% less platic, as well as 20% less cardboard, making them more eco-friendly and easier to recycle. Each tray contains 6 individual flavor selections and they are presented in a vibrant, engaging, easy-to-access format.
Jelly Drops trays now feature a brand new tasty flavor - peach! This joins our existing flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, lemon and orange. As well as this, due to the process of sealing in freshness, the taste has been enhanced! Although similar to previous Jelly Drops, many people describe them as more distinct and flavorsome, often finding them slightly sweeter and even tastier than before. We’ve also improved the texture, making the drops more similar to many of your childhood favourite candies.
Our new drops are smaller, making them easier to pick up and eat. Many people describe them as being more like traditional candy you might remember from your childhood. Don’t worry however - just because the drops are smaller doesn’t mean you get any less. Instead of 24 drops, each tray now contains 54 drops, ensuring to provide the same amount of water and electrolytes.
As our new trays help seal in freshness, they now last longer. Where you may have received quite short ‘Use By’ dates before, our new trays are sent with at least 6 weeks before they expire. Instead of ‘Use By’ dates, these now have ‘Best Before’ dates and can be eaten with your own judgement beyond this date - you just may find the taste and texture begins to slightly diminish over time. They also benefit from individually sealed portion sizes, meaning you can eat as much or as little as you want, without having to worry about them being left unsealed.
Despite a range of improvements and changes, we've carefully ensured that our drops are still 95% water and the overall amount of fluid and electrolytes provided by each tray is exactly the same as before. This means there's no need to adjust your eating habits, you can still eat a tray in the same time you usually would and get the same great benefits.
Currently, we only recommend Jelly Drops to people without swallowing difficulties. If you have swallowing difficulties, please consult a Speech and Language Therapist prior to use. As new Tray drops are smaller than our original Jelly Drops, you should exercise caution when introducing them to a person's diet.
